Sram 10spd RD-Type 2: has anyone used it yet?
Has anyone yet used the relatively new Sram 10-spd RD on their recumbent? I know someone who has used it successfully on his Mtn Bike for about a year. The TYPE 2 RD is supposed to eliminate derailleur bounce and chain slap.
It seems like it provides a similar effect as the older style Easy Racers tensioner idler that I have on my current GR. Am curious....if using this RD one might be able to avoid using an idler on the GR.
Sram Type 2 10spd RD:
I am really curious if anyone sees any disadvantages of using this RD-Type2 on a bent?
Gonna cross-post on the Bentrideronline Forum as well.....
Many thanks!

Of course I ride a recumbent.
No one responded with knowledge
of using the new Type 2 RD on an ER. I decided to get a Shimano XT RD and enjoyed it on a ride early this morning.
One person did respond, saying essentially it was merely another "new" item to upgrade to. I don't see it that way. Seems to me that a RD that provides less chain swing may be a good thing?
Wish I had more to offer.
